This is me
I grew up in an area of rural Pennsylvania with rolling green hills and a slow pace of life, which gave me plenty of time to get addicted to reading and cultivate an overactive imagination. Around the age of 14, I got the acting bug, and in the years that followed, I performed in theater, film and TV, while building out a career in the non-profit space, after earning a BA in Psychology and a BFA in Drama from NYU.
I'm fascinated by people, psychology, art and philosophy -- so I guess for me, fictional stories are where all of those things intersect. I read a ton of thrillers and especially love psychological thrillers. But I also enjoy a good mystery, sci fi story or any great works of literary fiction that make me think and see the world -- or myself -- differently. I love figuring out what works in a book and sharing my thoughts with others, as well as interacting with other authors, readers and book lovers.
When I'm not reading or going down True Crime rabbit holes (there are worse addictions, right?), I can be found in front of a laptop, writing my own psychological thriller, inspired by some of my favorite authors like Shirley Jackson, Riley Sager and Gillian Flynn.
I live in Los Angeles with a wonderful husband, who also happens to be the person I love analyzing stories with most.
